The first step when receiving your clones is to maintain a stable growing environment. These plants have been in a climate controlled greenhouse , and it’s important not to shock them by putting them in direct sunlight immediately. If you are planting outside, we recommend acclimating them for a full day before, especially if the weather is hot. Clones can be introduced to sunlight slowly by first putting them in shade and partial sunlit areas.

If planting inside or in greenhouses, clones are ready to transplant as soon as they are received. Planting into a 4'' or 1 gallon pot to begin with can help save space and make it easier to manage moisture but going directly into your final pot size can work just fine.  Make sure soil is pre-wetted with clean water and, if planting into a sterile medium, amend with the proper nutrients beforehand. If available, add Mycorrhizae or other biologicals in order to help soil nutrient and water absorption in early plants.

When you’ve finished planting, watering and feeding the new plants is essential. During the early (vegetative) stage of growth, the plant is doing most of its below ground development and creating an environment that encourages root growth will insure for healthy flowers in the future.

Integrated pest management: 

Our stock plants and clones are on a regular rotation of registered organic pesticides and fungicides. We will notify you of recent applications so you don't make any unwanted combinations that could cause phytotoxicity.
